The Comedy of Errors: Aine O’Friel’s ‘Undercover’ Antics at Premier Insurance & Legal Services Ltd

Colorful Clown Toy

6 July 2023

In the sometimes dry world of claims and legalities, it’s not often we get a chance to sit back and enjoy a hearty laugh. Enter stage right, Aine O’Friel, the Director of Premier Insurance & Legal Services Ltd, who decided to add a little bit of theatrical flair to her professional role. You may be wondering, how exactly? Well, let us set the scene for you.

Aine, in a daring move, made the decision to turn ‘secret shopper’ on our website, donning the nom de plume ‘Lindsey Carey’ (which we must admit, does have a certain charm). Under this pseudonym, she valiantly embarked on her mission – investigating our website for potential ‘claims harvesting’ activities. Armed with a keyboard and a seemingly boundless imagination, she carried out this task with a dedication worthy of a daytime Emmy.

The punchline, you ask? Ms. O’Friel, in her infinite wisdom, seemed to have forgotten to do one little thing before embarking on her adventure – proper research. Had she done so, she would have discovered that the Irish Claims Board was recently cleared by none other than the Advertising Standards Authority. Yes, that’s right! We’re as clean as an Irish spring morning after a night’s rain. Not a whiff of claims harvesting to be found here, dear readers.

The result of this comedic caper? An uproarious office at the Irish Claims Board, full of laughter and incredulity at the antics of our new favorite comedian, Aine O’Friel. We’d be more upset about losing a correspondent under the email ‘[email protected]’, but it’s difficult to be too upset while wiping tears of mirth from our eyes.

But let’s not be too hard on Aine. After all, she has managed to achieve something that not many can. She’s brought joy, laughter, and a much-needed dose of hilarity into our workday. And for that, we’re grateful. So here’s to Aine and the entire team at Premier Insurance & Legal Services Ltd. We raise our glasses to you in salutation of your unparalleled comedic prowess!

As the old Irish saying goes, “A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.” Thank you, Aine O’Friel, for providing the former. It’s been an absolute hoot.

So, in conclusion, at Irish Claims Board, we’re all about processing claims in a diligent, transparent manner, devoid of any unnecessary theatrics. But, we’re more than happy to take a moment and enjoy a little humor – especially when it’s served up in such an unexpected, hilarious package!

Signing off with a chuckle!
